Fiber Connection’s Rack Mount Housings are suitable for any cable design and can be used with either Fiber Distribution Modules (FDMs) or standard adapter plates. The Rack Mount Housings are available in 1U and 4U rack space versions and can fit into a standard 19” equipment rack or cabinet. The 1U sized panel is available with front and rear access for easy patchcord access while the 4U sized housing is equipped with front and rear doors. The panels accommodate FDM quantities and adapter plates as shown in the following table:

The panels are fabricated from sheet steel or aluminum with a robust black powder coat with a light textured finish. Hardware is made from
nickel or chromate plated steel. Rear openings on closed panels are equipped with grommets to protect cables and are equipped with cable
management features.
