Hybrid Cable Assemblies

Cable assemblies with both fiber and copper conductors are a key component in our Chameleon solution. Our hybrid cable assemblies support data and power transmission - all under one easy to install jacket. Cables can be made with any single mode or multimode fiber and can include LC, SC or MPO/MTP style fiber connectors and M8 connectors for the copper ends. They can have a combination of 12AWG and/or 18AWG copper conductors and have 2 - 12 fibers – depending on the network needs.

Fiber/copper hybrid assemblies are designed to extend PoE up to 3850ft for some applications - when used with our media converters. They can also be used for any other installations where savings can be realized by pulling data and power cabling together. 1 pull, 1 conduit – quick and easy.
